Conestoga Wood Specialties Introduces Two New Door Styles to Meet Customer Demand

Conestoga has long been known as design innovators – and listeners – when developing new door and drawer front designs. The development and introduction of the new Wakefield and CRP-10382MT door styles are no exception to that practice.

Wakefield’s creation is a result of Conestoga taking one of this past year’s most requested framing beads and crafting a smooth-flowing, distinctive look perfect for today’s transitional styling. The Wakefield design incorporates square bead 2-5/16” stiles with 3” rails with an elongated beveled bead. Its mortise & tenon construction can be had in both raised panel and plywood panel versions.

CRP-10382MT uses a complex “French-cut” mortise & tenon with mitered bead construction that offers designers the look of an applied moulding door, but at a more economical price point. The styling is ideal  for creating both transitional and contemporary kitchen and bath designs, and is also available in both solid wood and plywood panel construction.

Both Wakefield and CRP-10382MT are available in nearly all of Conestoga’s standard wood species as well as all published ¾” edge profiles and panel raises, giving designers boundless flexibility to create.

Jeff Eichenseer, Conestoga Director of Marketing & Product Development: “These looks, especially what we’ve created in Wakefield, were requested time and again through our Special Designs team. At Conestoga, we’re big on giving customers what they want, in both design choices and uncompromising Conestoga quality.

“As always, we listen to what our customers and the marketplace want. At Conestoga, we do take requests!”
