Earlier this year we introduced the Frame Only option for the Savoy design and now we’re pleased to expand this option to include the Astoria design. Both the Slab and Frame Only versions are manufactured from composite core plywood panels and will accept finish in a similar fashion. Astoria and Savoy Frame Only doors feature 3” wide vertical grain stiles and rails, doweled construction, with optional horizontal grain. Both frame only designs are routed to accept glass or other 1/8” thick inserts and include grey glass retainer moulding to conceal exposed areas of the composite substrate. We all know that shiplap walls and furniture are all the rage in interior design, but did you know that shiplap actually originated over 1,000 years ago for use on Viking ships? To keep with the namesake, we introduce to you the Erikson shiplap design. Available in both solid and plywood panel versions with matching drawer fronts, the Erikson and EriksonPP feature horizontal graining. Grooves begin at the midpoint of the panel and repeat every 4” to give that shiplap appearance. With Square Bead framing on the stiles, and the F-557 framing bead on the rails, the Erikson allows you select from numerous edge profiles and custom framing widths to achieve the custom look you are going for. Last November we announced an update to our Aluminum Frame Door Collection to reflect several revisions to the aluminum framed door designs, finishes and insert options. The Aluminum Frame Door Sample Kits are being modified, removing lower selling finishes and inserts. A new framing profile, the AF010, has been added along with new
backpainted glass colors in both gloss and matte finishes.
