Conestoga Wood Specialties, a leading manufacturer of custom cabinet doors and components for the kitchen and bath industry, proudly commemorates six decades of innovation, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to quality. From a small garage offering 5 door styles to a multi-location corporation with over a thousand door designs, Conestoga Wood has come a long way from those modest beginnings.
Experienced cabinet makers Norman and Sam Hahn, from East Earl, Pennsylvania (Lancaster County), founded Conestoga Wood in 1964, discovering their niche in creating cabinet doors not typically produced in small cabinet shops at the time. As the product line has expanded over the last 60 years, so have the manufacturing locations, which now include Beaver Springs, PA, Beavertown, PA, and Kenly, NC.
Conestoga Wood remains a family-owned company, with the current headquarters located just steps away from the original workshop. The work ethic and conservative values of the Hahn brothers continue to be the cornerstone of Conestoga’s present-day values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Resourcefulness, and Innovation.
A step ahead of the competition, Conestoga is always researching “the next big thing,” and has introduced materials and technology to the U.S. now considered “must haves” in the kitchen and bath industry. This dedication coupled with a reputation of absolute dependability, ensures customers that they can count on receiving a quality product by the date committed due to the efforts of the thousands of employees who have worked for Conestoga Wood over the years.
In response, Anthony Hahn, president of Conestoga Wood since 2003, states: “Conestoga Wood wouldn’t be where it is today without our incredible team of hard-working and dedicated employees, both past and present. Their commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction has been the driving force of our success over the past 60 years. We’re immensely grateful for their contributions, and we celebrate this milestone together.”
