Sourcing the Finest Materials
Our Supply Chain team purchases over 15 different hardwood species in multiple grades to support our customers’ needs. We’re also tasked with identifying sources for less frequently sought-after species and grades for highly customized projects. To meet these demands, we maintain strong, long-term partnerships with more than 30 trusted sawmills across the Northeast, Midwest, and Canada, with several relationships spanning over 60 years. These partnerships allow us to secure upper-grade lumber and maintain a steady flow of materials in the color, grain and quality that our customers require.

Conestoga’s proprietary lumber and plywood grades are designed to deliver unmatched appearance and value. Materials that don’t meet these standards are rejected—even when suppliers tell us our competitors would accept them without issue, because we believe our customers deserve the best quality. To keep projects on schedule, Conestoga carries significant inventories, and when necessary, we incur expedite shipping costs or arrange air freight to avoid delays. We also work closely with the finest plywood, MDF, and Alternative Material producers in North America to ensure consistent machinability, smooth finishes, and superior performance.
