The Receptacle Notching Option provides an attractive way to provide electrical service to kitchen islands. A cutout for a standard receptacle box (not included) is “notched” into the end block of the post and an access hole is drilled in your choice of the left side, right side, the back or top for wiring to be fed to the receptacle.Â
